For best results, place paper filter in cone and rinse with hot water. Add desired amount of grounds and shake to level. A general guideline is 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 ounces of water. Pour cold, filtered water into pot and let brew. Place brewed coffee into a heated thermos to prevent burning. Enjoy!

Most espresso machines do this but some are adjustable. 25 to 30 seconds should pass between the beginning of extraction and completion. Savor!
